Unfortunaly, Dirk died of cancer on november 4th 2008.
He asked us to keep posting his work "from behound the grave", so keep an eye on this website for new work of this great artist. You'll find tributes to Dirk on the "links" page.

Here you can read Dirk's personal words of welcome:
"Hi and welcome to my place. For those of you who don't know me or my work, I'm a digital artist. My main creative tool for the past 3 years has been XenoDream, a 3D fractal program.
I studied at the Art Academy, Brugge, Belgium (1987-1990) - for traditional drawing, painting and photographic techniques, and at the AKI Art Academy, Enschede, The Netherlands (1990-1993) - where i did media-art, computer generated art and video installations.
I also have a great passion for dogs, with Irish Wolfhounds as my absolute hearthounds. Besides owning dogs, I also give obedience lessons for dogs, and for the last 7 year, i have been working part-time in an animalshelter as a driver and animal carer. This allows me to combine my two passions, art and animals, in a perfect way.
On this site you will find many galleries, both for my art and dogs. There is also a guest gallery where you can find the work of digital artists i admire. And in the writers gallery you can read some of my poetry and short stories.
You can follow me closely on my weblog, and if you want to be informed of any new developments on this site, sign up for my newsletter. There are XenoDream tutorials to be found on this website and you can download Xenodream files, wallpapers and other stuff.
